Two civilians shot dead in Kulgam | KNO

Kulgam, Apr 01 (KNO): Two civilians were killed on Wednesday late evening after they were shot at by unknown gunmen in Damhal Hanjipora area of South Kashmir's Kulgam District. A police officer told wire service—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that suspected militants fired upon two persons namely Ghulam Hassan Wagay, son of Wahab Wagay, a retired forest employee and Seeraj Din Ahmad in Nandimarg area of DH Pora area of Kulgam district. Both suffered severe injuries and were shifted to nearby hospital, where doctors declared them dead, he said. Soon after the incident, the officer said that the search operation has been launched to nab the assailants—(KNO)
